General Statistical Expertise:

Our general statistical expertise often helps solve problems that arise secondarily to our primary ligation support and risk characterization activities.  For example, we have developed statistical procedures for selecting test plaintiffs, designed sampling strategies, estimated probability distributions for exposure parameters, etc.

Dr. Sielken taught a wide variety of graduate level courses over a 15-year period in the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University.  Each member of Sielken & Associates has more than 20 years of experience consulting in the areas of probability and statistics and their application to real world problems.

Some of the general areas which Sielken & Associates have experience in include

statistical graphics

exploratory data analysis

power analysis and sample size determination

experimental design

sampling

linear and nonlinear regression analyses

regression and analysis of variance

mixed models and repeated measures

categorical data analysis
