            Sielken & Associates is a statistical consulting firm providing litigation support in toxic torts; helping to defend industrial operations and products; assisting in regulatory interactions with state and federal governments; contributing to human health, environmental, and ecological risk assessments; offering training to client personnel; conducting critical reviews of statistical analyses; as well as preparing statistical analyses and study designs.  Members of Sielken & Associates often serve cooperatively in team efforts with other experts both in the USA and in Europe.

            Our litigation support activities include serving as expert witnesses; providing affidavits, reports, depositions, and testimony; assisting in the deposition and cross-examination of plaintiff experts and the critiques of their reports, and providing technical support.

            Our risk assessment activities include presentations to state and federal regulatory agencies (e.g., EPA, FDA, and OSHA) and working discussions with their staff; interactions with Superfund, EPA's Science Advisory Board (SAB), and EPA's Science Advisory Panel (SAP); strategy planning; report writing; critical reviews of agency assessments and statistical analyses; and participation in workshops and conferences (e.g., Society of Toxicology, Society (SOT), Society for Risk Analysis (SRA), and International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI)).

            We have been consulting for over 18 years.  Our professional staff all have their Ph.D.'s in Probability & Statistics, Biology, Industrial Engineering, or Polymer Physics and each have more than 20 years of consulting experience.
